Nehemiah's Vision Outreach Inc. is a non-profit organization helping the members of the community to stop smoking.
Our staff members are trained and certified. We educate clients on the health hazards of tabacco use and assist them in freedom from smoking.
Quitting smoking isn’t easy but, it’s easier with the right help. Our program gives clients options, resources and support to quit.
We are partners with the American Lung Association.
The educational materials for our clinic are supported and provided by The American Lung Association. Every year in the U.S., more than 480,000 people die from tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke, making it the leading cause of preventable death in this country. Tragically, each day thousands of kids still pick up a tobacco product for the first time.
This includes e-cigarettes and vaping.
Nehemiah's Vision Outreach Inc offers help to teens and adults. Unlike other smoke cessation programs which simply modify adult’s curriculum, we also have a teenager’s curriculum that is designed with the teenager in mind and addresses issues that are specifically important to them.
A worth while personal investment.
Not On Tobacco® (N-O-T) is a voluntary quit smoking program for teens ages 14 – 19. Over the 10-week program, participants learn to identify their reasons for smoking, healthy alternatives to tobacco use and people who will support them in their efforts to quit.
There Are Several Forms of Bullying
Bullying is an ongoing and deliberate mistreatment of someone vulnerable by someone stronger. Nehemiah vision Outreach assist individuals with a cohesive, collective plan to reduce bullying and respond to it appropriately.
What is the Vape-Free School Initiative?
One in four teens has vaped, and the number of middle and high school students using e-cigarettes further increased to 5.4 million in 2019, prompting the U.S. Surgeon General to call youth vaping an "epidemic."
Teens are getting addicted to vaping and instead of getting education or support, they are getting suspended from school or facing other disciplinary measures.
